KAPT New Directors Mentoring Program

The Kentucky Association of Pupil Transportation would like to make you aware of a service we are offering to new transportation directors across the state. KAPT has developed a mentoring program that is available free of charge to directors who need assistance or guidance with their roles and responsibilities. This service is available regardless of whether the director is a member of our organization, although s/he will certainly be welcome to join in order to take full advantage of all of KAPT's benefits. Superintendents and/or Transportation Directors may contact me to request being partnered with a mentor who will serve as a resource for information and will be available to share his/her experience and expertise in the many areas of transportation responsibility. There is no expense involved unless your director would like to travel to another district, in which case we will make arrangements for your director to visit a district with similar situations, resources etc. Again, there is no obligation to join KAPT, although we hope this offer demonstrates our organizations commitment to professionalism regarding the SAFE and efficient transportation of our states most precious resource our students. For more information or to request a mentoring partner to be assigned to your director, contact me at michael.mccloud@bgreen.kyschools.us
